Staged Stories
Staged Stories gives older adults (55+) a chance to reconnect with their creativity, write their personal stories and share them onstage at The Wallis. Many of the participants have never shared their stories before and others had stories they've always wanted to tell but didn't know how.
On October 16, 2019, a sold out crowd in the Lovelace Studio Theater heard stories by seventeen storytellers from participants of the inaugural Staged Stories program. Each participant shared a personal story and also a section of a community poem that they wrote. Read more about the participants and watch their honest, brave, and creative stories below.
