Human Resources Manager (part-Time) 

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ("The Wallis") seeks a dynamic and skilled part-time Human Resources Manager to oversee the development and implementation of all human resources programs and services. Working closely with the CFO and Managing Director, the Human Resources Manager will advise supervisors and employees on policies and procedures related to personnel management; maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and ensure that The Wallis' HR policies meet all legal requirements; conduct investigations and discuss with legal counsel as appropriate; assist in disciplinary actions; and oversee compliance with required workplace postings and notices. The Human Resources Manager will also manage and oversee the full cycle of health and welfare benefits including broker interface, annual renewals with carriers, benefit communications, employee enrollment and terminations, and COBRA administration, as well as work directly with managers to recruit, interview, select and hire staff. Candidates should have: a Bachelor's degree; 5-7 years of HR experience as a generalist; knowledge of human resources administration practices and current Federal, State, and local employment law; strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; high-level negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills; and ability to exercise the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
