Cost: A $15 donation is suggested at each session. That can be made in cash or check at the session. No advance payment is required.
Dancing Through Parkinson’s offers a weekly class location in Beverly Hills, thanks to a collaboration between Invertigo Dance Theatre and the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. DTP began with a weekly class in Venice in 2010 and has since expanded to locations in Culver City, Downtown LA, and Torrance. Taught by experienced professional dancers, classes are designed to encourage joy, strength, community, stability, mental clarity and creativity.
Friends, family and caretakers are encouraged to join in. During standing portions of the class, there is always an equally engaging seated option. Participants are able to move at their own pace and no dance experience is required.
Regulars and drop-ins welcome.
Parking is available in underground structure below The Wallis at $1/hour for each of the first two hours
